In order to prepare for an interview with Splits Magazine, Sue Sylvester the cheerleader coach (Jane Lynch) requires that new cheerleader Mercedes Jones shall lose ten pounds in a week.She reserves the school auditorium for cheer practice, so glee club director Will Schuester has to find another new rehearsal space. He comes to visit a local roller rink where he finds former glee club member April Rhodes, who tells him that she is the mistress of the wealthy eighty-year-old tycoon who owns the rink. For the sake of learning, Will intends to sublet his apartment. April invites herself to have a look at it. After they spend a wonderful night by sharing one bed, Will tells her that she should consider changing her role more than being a mistress. April says that she will break up with her tycoon.
